Teen Mothers Program

Our Teen Moms Program is designed to walk alongside young mothers as they navigate the complex realities of early parenthood. We recognize that many face stigma, interrupted education, limited income opportunities, and emotional strain. Through a compassionate and structured approach, we provide the tools, support, and encouragement they need to rebuild confidence, gain independence, and create a better future for themselves and their children.

Financial literacy is a key component of the program. Participants are equipped with practical skills in budgeting, saving, and small business management, enabling them to make informed financial decisions and work toward economic stability. In addition, vocational training opportunities—such as tailoring, hairdressing, baking, and other marketable skills—help them develop sustainable sources of income and reduce dependency.

Mentorship plays a central role in their journey. Each teen mother is connected with a mentor who offers guidance, encouragement, and real-life insights, helping them set achievable goals and stay motivated. Alongside this, psychosocial support—including counseling sessions and peer support groups—creates a safe space where they can share experiences, heal from past challenges, and build emotional resilience.

The program also promotes life skills such as parenting education, time management, and decision-making, empowering young mothers to raise their children in a nurturing and stable environment. Whenever possible, we encourage and support participants to return to school or pursue further education, ensuring they are not limited by their circumstances.

Through community engagement and awareness initiatives, we actively work to reduce stigma and foster acceptance, helping teen mothers feel valued and supported rather than judged. By addressing both their practical and emotional needs, the Teen Moms Program restores hope, builds dignity, and opens doors to lasting transformation for both mother and child.
